Personnel Bio:
I began my life's journey in the charming town of Yankton, South Dakota. As the seasons changed, so did the backdrop of my experiences, taking me from Nebraska to New Mexico and back to South Dakota.
Summers were a time of adventure in the mountains, marked by the thrill of rafting and the simplicity of camping. Fall, winter, and spring were dedicated to school sports, hunting, and fishing, grounding me in the rhythms of nature.
At 19, a pivotal moment arrived as I joined the Army, initially serving as a Military Police officer. This journey led me to 18 months of deployment in Iraq, where I embraced the challenges and responsibilities of Combat Arms.
The age of 22 marked not only a personal milestone but the beginning of a beautiful chapter with my wife, Lisa. Over the past 21 years, our union has been blessed with the laughter and joy of nine children. Currently residing in the Denver suburbs, our home is a bustling center of love and familial warmth.
At 28, I underwent a professional transformation, transitioning from Combat Arms to Information Technology within the military. Here, I found my true professional calling, blending my skills and passion for technology.
A year later, at 29, I entered university full time while fulfilling my military obligations, seeking to further enrich my knowledge and skills. By the age of 33, I made the leap into the civilian world, driven by the desire to provide greater stability for my family and savor more quality time with them.
Beyond the demands of work and family, my heart finds solace and exhilaration in various outdoor pursuits. Motorcycles offer a sense of freedom, off-roading allows me to explore rugged terrains, white-water rafting brings an adrenaline rush, and fishing becomes a meditative escape into nature's tranquility.
In this intricate tapestry of life, I continue to weave together the threads of family, career, and personal passions. Each chapter has its unique challenges and triumphs, contributing to the rich narrative that defines my journey. As I navigate the twists and turns ahead, I cherish the moments of joy, the bonds of family, and the thrill of pursuing my passions.
